1974
The dream begins
Bruna and Gigi Nuzzaci decide to buy the oldest farmhouse in the center of Perugia. The renovation and transformation into a villa begins.
1976
The renewed residence
The works are finished and the Nuzzaci family moves to the new residence.
2002
Road to Villa Nuba

Giuseppe, together with his parents Bruna and Gigi decide to start a new adventure and open the villa to the Guests. Renovation work began for the creation of 3 luxurious residences in a villa, as well as the main villa where the Nuzzaci family resides.

2003
Welcome Villa Nuba

The name of the new holiday house is born: Villa Nuba acronym of the surnames of the parents of Giuseppe without whom all this would not have been possible.

2005
Swimming pool

Among olive trees, vineyards and the typical Umbrian green the elegant swimming pool of the villa takes shape.

2007
Umbria Villa Owners Association

Villa Nuba becomes part of the association “Umbria Villa Owners Association”, the only association of villa owners in Umbria

2008
The first award

Villa Nuba wins the award of Umbria Villa Owners Association as best villa in Perugia.

2010
New award and eco pool
Villa Nuba wins the award of Umbria Villa Owners Association as the most charming accommodation in Umbria. The elegant pool is renewed and becomes an exclusive Eco pool. No more chemical chlorine but only iodized salt, like the salt of the sea!
2011
Barbecue area and gazebos
At Villa Nuba the new barbecue area and the relaxing gazebos are born. In each room of Villa Nuba are painted starry romantic ceilings with constellations in evidence.
2012
The first Certificate of Excellence
This is the first year that Villa Nuba obtains the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence. From now Villa Nuba will obtain the Certificate of Excellence every year!
2013
Villa Nuba accepted in SlowTourism
Villa Nuba is accepted in SlowTourism. This prestigious association promotes and rewards accommodations with “Slow” philosophy. A delightful aromatic herb garden is now available to guests of the villa. This is the year when the villa becomes more and more great for family holidays and suitable for children. We refurbish the fun and safe playground for the little ones.

Villa Nuba becomes a pet-friendly holiday home.

Villa Nuba wins the prestigious bedandbreakfat.com award “Top 10 international”, among the 10 holiday homes or b&b in the world. And this, as always, thanks to the opinion of our guests. Villa Nuba is also classified by SlowTourism as Green (Top rating). The only villa in Perugia to achieve this award.

The year of couples
This is the year of couples. Villa Nuba is judged by guests as the ideal residence for romantic couples in Perugia.

As every year since 2012, Villa Nuba obtains the Certificate of Excellence of TripAdvisor.

As usual Villa Nuba obtains the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence. It also obtains the prestigious Green Leader Certificate of TripAdvisor dedicated to homes that respect nature in a rigorous way.

Eco swimming pool with heated water
The  eco pool in salt water is now heated with solar panels of the latest generation and with night-time color therapy system.
