Todi

Todi stands on a hill overlooking the mid Tiber Valley.
Its medieval historical center has both religious and civil buildings which are very prestigious.
The Piazza del Popolo (People’s Square), one of the most important in Italy, is the central and historic town square and represents the Middle Ages. Its Cathedral, the Episcopal Palace next to the Cathedral, the Palazzo dei Priori, the Captain’s Palace and the Palazzo del Popolo (People’s Palace), make the square one of the most beautiful in Italy.
In this description we can’t omit the Church of San Fortunato, a large Gothic building dating back to the century 100 and the Temple of Consolation, a large Renaissance church, situated just outside the city walls and maybe erected following a design by Bramante.
